Role Description: Estimator – Hard FM Services

Are you a driven Estimator with a track record in hard services across commercial and industrial sites? Our client, a well‑established facilities management provider, is looking for an Estimator to join their team in and play a key role in pricing and winning high‑value contracts.

The role

• Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans for hard services (mechanical, electrical, building fabric).
\n
• Analyse tender documentation, specifications and drawings to identify risks, opportunities and value‑engineering options.
\n
• Work closely with operations, engineering and commercial teams to build robust bids and proposals.
\n
• Lead pricing for new business and renewals, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and margin protection.
\n
• Support client meetings, presentations and clarifications as the commercial subject‑matter expert.
\n

About you

\n
• Strong background in facilities management or building services, with clear experience estimating hard services.
\n
• Confident interpreting technical documentation, drawings and asset lists.
\n
• Commercially astute, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
\n
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.

• Salary: £75,000–£80,000 depending on experience.
