Job Description

\nThis 6-month fixed-term contract covers maternity leave and focuses on developing the SMU range across Knits, Knitwear, Bottoms, Shirts, Swim & Outerwear.
\nResponsibilities

- Work closely with design & garment tech teams to develop all SMU ranges across Knits, Knitwear, Bottoms, Shirts, Swim & Outerwear. \n
- Responsible for creating and maintaining all style packages on our PLM system throughout the season and ensuring data integrity. \n
- Approve lab dip, print strike-offs, embroideries and other submits in a timely manner. Evaluate all submits with Design where relevant. \n
- Support timely and comprehensive handovers between Design, Merchandising, PD, Tech and Sourcing teams. \n
- Own multiple customer critical paths to ensure timely delivery of product ranges to our warehouses. \n
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and effectively communicate all essential style package requirements. \n
- Ensure all work is accurate and clear to facilitate seamless communication with suppliers. \n
- Work closely with the Design and Sourcing team to identify key materials within target price points and minimum order restrictions. \n
- Ensure product quality is aligned with brand standards and customer expectations. \n
- Take ownership of the SMU sample library to become the main point of contact for shipping reference styles to relevant customers. \n
- Collaborate with Design, Tech and Sourcing teams to find commercially minded solutions for fit, materials and construction of garments. \n
- Work closely with design during initial design stages, assign and set up all relevant style numbers on our PLM system. \n
- Generate all SMU styles via PLM system. \n
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be required by the Senior Merchandising Manager or the business to support the EMEA product team. \n
Person Specification
\n- \n
- Ideally educated to degree level in a fashion or design-related field, or possess equivalent professional experience, alongside demonstrable experience developing multi-category menswear products. \n
- Able to work independently and manage own workload. \n
- Excellent product knowledge (materials, construction, costing). \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. \n
- In-depth knowledge of the menswear UK/EU fashion environment, especially consumer trends and emerging brands. \n
- Self-motivated, reliable and precise with a good eye for detail. \n
- Team player with good networking skills. \n
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. \n
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. \n
- Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. \n
- Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems would be a plus. \n
- Must have the legal Right to Work in the UK. \n
Salary and Benefits

- Salary: £33,000 per year (pro-rata for 6 months). \n
- 4% employee, 5% employer pension. \n
- 24 days holiday per year (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. \n
