\nAbout the Role
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme focused on building a new strategic platform within the investment banking sector.
\nWorking as part of a high-profile Large Holdings programme, you will play a key role in defining business requirements, analysing complex datasets, supporting regulatory initiatives, and helping drive the migration from legacy platforms to a future-state strategic solution.
\nThis role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong data analysis capabilities, and can engage effectively with stakeholders across Business, Operations, and Technology functions.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Analyse and document business requirements, identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and data management. \n
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into data rules, business logic, and functional requirements. \n
- Perform detailed gap analysis to support transformation and regulatory initiatives. \n
- Conduct end-to-end data analysis, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data consumed across the Large Holdings ecosystem. \n
- Support the simplification and optimisation of existing data models. \n
- Coordinate the resolution of legacy platform issues, working closely with Operations and Technology teams to deliver sustainable solutions. \n
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and regulatory expectations. \n
- Support the development of business cases and feasibility assessments for proposed change initiatives. \n
- Create operational and process designs that support successful implementation of new solutions. \n
- Produce project documentation, status updates, and reporting to ensure delivery remains on track. \n
- Contribute to testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). \n
- Support change management activities, including requirements traceability, stakeholder engagement, and implementation planning. \n
Skills & Experience Required
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Strong Business Analysis experience within complex financial services or investment banking environments. \n
- Proven experience performing end-to-end data analysis across large and complex datasets. \n
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into business and data solutions. \n
- Experience conducting data mapping, gap analysis, data validation, and data quality assessments. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across Business, Operations, and Technology functions. \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. \n
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Exposure to Large Holdings, Equities, or regulatory reporting programmes. \n
- Experience supporting platform transformation initiatives, including strategic migrations from legacy systems. \n
- Knowledge of data architecture, data lineage, and data governance principles. \n
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management and workflow tools. \n
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT testing activities. \n
- Understanding of risk management and control frameworks within financial services. \n
