\nAbout the role:
\nThe Planning Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate demand forecasts, inventory plans and supply recommendations to ensure product availability while optimising inventory investment. The role acts as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement and Finance, providing data-driven insights to support business growth and customer service objectives.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nDemand Planning
\n- \n
- Develop and maintain SKU-level forecasts across all sales channels \n
- Analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality and promotional activity \n
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve forecast accuracy \n
- Track forecast performance and implement continuous improvements \n
Inventory Planning
\n- \n
- Monitor inventory levels, stock health and inventory turns \n
- Recommend safety stock parameters and reorder point. \n
- Identify risks relating to stock shortages, excess inventory and obsolescence \n
- Support working capital optimisation initiatives \n
Supply Planning
\n- \n
- Develop supply plans aligned to forecast demand and supplier lead times \n
- Work with Procurement to ensure purchase order requirements are communicated effectively \n
- Monitor supplier performance and inventory coverage \n
- Support new product launches and phase-out activities \n
Analysis & Reporting
\n- \n
- Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports \n
- Analyse sales, inventory, service levels and forecast accuracy \n
- Provide recommendations based on planning data and trends \n
- Maintain planning dashboards and planning master data \n
S&OP Support
\n- \n
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning process \n
- Prepare reporting packs and scenario analysis \n
- Highlight demand, capacity and inventory risks to stakeholders \n
- Support decision-making through data-driven recommendations \n

What we’re looking for:
\n- \n
- 2+ years in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management or analytical roles \n
- Advanced Excel skills \n
- Experience with ERP and planning systems \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills \n
- Ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actions \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Economics or related discipline preferred. \n
- APICS/CPIM qualification desirable. \n
