Mechanical Engineer - Corrugated Packaging Wolverhampton Hours; Week 1 - 6-2pm Week 2 - 2-10pm Week 3 - 10pm-6am Salary - DOE The Company: The opportunity for a Mechanical / Electrical engineer to join a leading packaging manufacturer who create innovative, high-quality, cost-effective corrugated cardboard packaging. The role: Preventive Maintenance Root Cause Analysis Quality Control Project Management Participate in continuous development and training Liaise with colleagues and other departments to enhance efficiencies Adhere to policies and procedures relating to health, safety and quality To carry out PPM's, react to production breakdowns and follow inspection routines according to SOP and schedule Adhere to site and corporate health and safety policies Ability to manage a schedule of work on a daily basis Strong understanding of continuous improvement measures Make contact with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for parts to maintain Plant Equipment and effectiveness. Working on machines such as; A Corrugator, LMC P1230, Weipong, Martin 924 Help to install new machinery including - M924, Emba 245, Emba 170, LMC 2 colour, LMC 5 Colour Mechanical Engineer Skills required: Must have previous mechanical engineering experience FMCG and/or Packaging manufacturing is beneficial. Computer literate Demonstrate experience of working to high quality standards Good attention to detail.
