Job Description
CNC Lathe Operator £19.00 per hour (incl. shift allowance) Rotating shifts | Overtime available We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected precision engineering company known for manufacturing high-precision components for demanding industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled CNC Turner, Lathe Setter Operator to join their established production team. The Role: Set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc & Heidenhain controls Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic programme edits Manufacture high-quality components to tight tolerances Work from engineering drawings to produce first-offs and batch work Maintain high standards in line with AS9100 / ISO 13485 Shift Pattern: Early Shift: Mon -Thurs: 6:00am - 2:00pm Fri: 6:00am - 12:30pmLate Shift: Mon -Wed: 2:00pm -12:30am Thurs: 2:00pm -10:30pm Fri: Day off Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Operator Experience setting and operating CNC machines Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controlsDesirable: Apprentice trained or engineering qualification Experience with multiple materials (metals / polymers) 5-axis or mill-turn experience Basic CNC programming Benefits: 25 days holiday 4-day week on late shift Early finish Fridays Paid overtime Company pension Death in service cover Training and progression opportunities Apply now If you're an experienced CNC Turner looking for a stable role with excellent benefits and work-life balance, apply today.
