Mechanical Project Manager | Building Services | South London | £80,000£85,000 + Benefits PackageAn established Mechanical Building Services contractor operating across London is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.The company delivers a varied portfolio of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, generally ranging from approximately £250,000 to £2 million, through both Design & Build and build-only arrangements.This is a senior, client-facing position offering responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion, working alongside a supportive and experienced management team.The business has longstanding client relationships, a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for professional development and long-term career progression.The Role The Mechanical Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from tender handover through to completion.You will manage the programme, design coordination, procurement, subcontractors, commercial changes and client relationships, working closely with the companys technical and commercial teams.Typical responsibilities will include:Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handoverCoordinating design information, technical submissions and RFIsProducing and maintaining project programmesManaging procurement and subcontractor performanceMonitoring costs, variations and changes to scopeAttending client, contractor and design-team meetingsEnsuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and on programmeThe Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have experience working for a Mechanical or M&E Building Services contractor and a proven track record of delivering commercial projects.You should have:Strong mechanical building services knowledgeExperience of HVAC, plumbing and public health systemsExperience of commercial fit-out or refurbishment projectsDesign & Build and build-only experienceGood commercial and programme-management skillsStrong client-facing and communication abilitiesThis role would suit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager capable of taking full ownership of projects with minimal supervision.Remuneration The successful Mechanical Project Manager will receive:£80,000£85,000 basic salaryTravel expensesCompany pensionBenefits packageThe final package will reflect the successful candidates experience and background.Next Steps If you are an experienced Mechanical Project Manager and would like to be considered, please apply with an up-to-date CV or contact Rob Green at David Leslie Ltd for a confidential and informal discussion.This role would suit candidates currently working as a:Mechanical Project ManagerSenior Mechanical Project ManagerHVAC Project ManagerMechanical Contracts ManagerM&E Project ManagerMEP Project ManagerTPBN1_UKTJ
