Working within a busy shared-user warehouse, you'll play a key role in leading operational teams, supporting daily activities and ensuring performance targets and customer expectations are consistently achieved.This is a full-time, permanent position , working any 5 from 7 , with opportunities available across both 06:00 14:00 and 14:00 22:00 shifts.Pay, benefits and more:We're offering a rate of £13.97 per hour , plus a £1 per hour shift allowance for hours worked after 18:00 on the late shift. Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discountsWhat youll do on a typical day:Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring productivity, quality and service level targets are consistently achieved across your operational areaAllocate labour and resources effectively to support changing operational demands, maintaining efficiency and ensuring customer SLA requirements are metMonitor team performance, providing coaching, support and feedback to encourage engagement, development and high performanceUtilise warehouse management systems and operational reporting to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement and support effective decision-makingDrive a culture of continuous improvement, safety and accountability while promoting company values and best practice across the operationWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role within a warehousing, logistics or distribution environmentStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage colleagues across a fast-paced operationExperience working with warehouse management systems and operational performance dataExcellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing business requirementsA proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer serviceWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chainsTPBN1_UKTJ
