Construction Site Manager Location: Oxford Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Package (including £5,000 Car Allowance) Build a Project That Makes a Difference An established, family-run regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £5 million new-build healthcare facility in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project that will have a lasting impact on the local community while working for a business renowned for its quality, integrity and long-term approach to construction. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: * Managing all site operations from start to completion. * Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel. * Driving health and safety standards and ensuring full compliance. * Monitoring programme and progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively. * Maintaining exceptional quality throughout the build. * Building positive relationships with the client, consultants and wider project team. * Managing site logistics, materials and labour resources efficiently. * Producing site reports and attending progress meetings. About You We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership and communication skills. You'll ideally have: * Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering new-build construction projects. * Experience managing projects valued between £3m and £10m. * A background with a main contractor. * Excellent organisational and planning skills. * Strong health and safety awareness. * The ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards on site. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (essential). Healthcare project experience is advantageous but not essential.
