What you will be doing:With experience in mental health settings across the NHS or private sector, you'll lead the nursing team to deliver safe, structured and compassionate care within our 12-bed CYPMHS service. You'll champion high standards, support your colleagues, and cultivate a positive, learning-focused environment.As Ward Manager, you will:Provide clinical leadership , expertise and direction across the wardOffer guidance, supervision and coaching to build a unified, confident and engaged workforceEnsure high standards of care are maintained and continuously improved within the Clinical Governance frameworkLead by example, acting as a role model for safe practice, professionalism and compassionate careManage ward budgets, staffing and resources effectivelyWork alongside the Senior Nurse to support the on-call serviceHold a key role within the MDT, acting as an expert resource in CMHS nursingMaintain a collaborative, supportive environment where staff can reach their potential and deliver exceptional careTake charge of the ward as the designated clinical leaderYour leadership will empower recovery, strengthen team culture and help shape a service where young people feel safe, understood and supported.Things that you will have: A relevant nursing qualificationNMC registrationExperience within mental health settingsA positive, compassionate and values-led approachA commitment to high-quality, evidence-based careExperience in a similar environment or senior nursing roleA proven track record of effective leadershipWhere you will be working:Location : Bere Clinic , Hemlock Road, Waterlooville, PO8 8QT12 bed CYPMHS service to support young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders.
