This role offers strong career progression, with advancement driven by performance, client delivery and leadership.We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded individual who can take ownership of projects, build client relationships and support junior team members.The RoleAs a Senior Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Leading the preparation of building survey reports and technical advice for clientsManaging dilapidations instructions, acting for both landlords and tenantsUndertaking inspections and preparing Schedules of ConditionActing as Contract Administrator to deliver refurbishment and fit-out projectsPreparing specifications, cost estimates, programmes and scheme designsManaging tender processes and advising on procurement strategiesUndertaking party wall instructions, including inspections and negotiationsActing in a Tenant's Surveyor capacity on development projectsManaging client relationships and ensuring successful project outcomesSupporting and mentoring junior team membersUndertaking site inspections across the UK as requiredAbout YouEssential:Degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent experience)Significant experience within a consultancy environmentStrong track record in both professional and project-led servicesProven experience in contract administration and project deliveryAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyStrong client-facing skills and commercial awarenessFull UK driving licence and willingness to travelDesirable:MRICS qualified (or working towards)Experience within retail, commercial or industrial sectorsExperience in delivering party wall servicesKnowledge of CDM Regulations and/or Principal Designer dutiesAwareness of the Building Safety Act and associated duty holder rolesExperience supervising or mentoring junior staffIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on APPLY today!No agencies please.Equality & EligibilityMonaghans is an equal opportunities employer.
