Operations ManagerLocation : NorthamptonSalary : Salaried: £24,000 paHours: Wed-Thu 10-7, Fri 10-8:30, Sun 10-8:30Position type : Permanent 35 Hours + four 1 hour unpaid lunch breaks (39 hours total)Reports to: General ManagerCompany Profile OnTarget Range opened April 2015, as a destination for Airgun shooters in the Midlands, today we have more than 1200 members of the Air Rifle Club, and 80 + members of our Home Office Approved Live Fire club.We attract a wide range of customers from seasoned shooters to experience seekers.We are looking to move into a period of growth for the business taking on new product lines, and extending existing.We are open to our customers 6 Days a Week for Air Rifle Shooting, and the Live Club operates Fri, Sat & Sundays.We have a fully stocked shop and a coffee shop on site.Role Summary As OnTarget is a small business there is a requirement for all colleagues to be flexible and able to perform a variety of roles, which include;Briefing customers in the use of the Air RiflesTaking bookings for the Range over the telephone using the bespoke computer systemProduct SalesEnd of Day financial reconciliationAdditional specific tasks relevant to the role include;Stock ControlPurchasing & ProcurementProjects and IT initiatives to enhance and support existing businessInvoicingLiaising with the Police for Licencing & membership administrationMarketingAdvertisingLive Range Control Range Conducting Officer Training provided * Nationally recognised CourseGun Smithing Training ProvidedChecking and Maintaining Range EquipmentRequired Skills Excellent verbal & written communication, telephone, email & face to faceAttention to detailProblem solving / ownership & responsibilityAbility to manage own time & prioritisePrevious Experience Retail experienceCo-ordinating of small projectsInventory & Stock ManagementSupplier ManagementAdditional notes Current FAC holders advantageousRole is subject to a 3-month probationary periodTPBN1_UKTJ
