Youll be reporting to the HR Advisor, and youll need to be comfortable supporting line managers in their role and being the contact person for people and pay queries. Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discountsWhat youll do on a typical day:To assist the People Advisor in providing a high-quality professional people serviceTo support the management of time and attendance system Kronos, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate prior to payroll sign offTo ensure payroll is signed off in a timely manner - Lunar (4 weekly) & Monthly payrollsRun payroll reports and check payroll for accuracy and assist resolving pay queries when they ariseTo ensure all policies and procedures are followed in line with the site agreement and legislationTo support absence management, including administration and policing of the absence procedure and providing guidance to managersWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Previous experience working in a people and/or payroll teamStrong numerical and literacy skills in English are essentialHigh Level of Microsoft Skills especially in MS ExcelCan work to strict deadlines and under time pressuresA CIPD qualification would be desirable however all relevant experience will be consideredOracle, Kronos or other similar HR systems experience desirableWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chainsTPBN1_UKTJ
