\nAbout the Role
\nAre you a Building Services Engineer or Facilities Manager with a strong technical background looking for a change in career? This is an excellent opportunity to move into the consultancy sector, working on a range of M&E asset management projects including asset verification, condition surveys, compliance audits, and asset register creation.
\nTSA are currently recruiting for an M&E Surveyor on behalf of an owner-operated Building Services Consultancy with offices across the UK. This role will be based across the Midlands, with travel to sites nationwide as required.
\nThe consultancy has a well-established reputation, delivering both M&E Asset Surveying and Design/Project Consultancy services. Due to continued growth within their national Asset Management team, they are looking to appoint an additional Surveyor to support the delivery of M&E Condition Surveys across a diverse portfolio including education, healthcare, PFI, and local authority estates.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Carry out mechanical and electrical condition surveys across a range of property types. \n
- Produce and maintain accurate asset registers. \n
- Undertake asset verification and condition assessments. \n
- Complete compliance audits of M&E assets. \n
- Log, tag, and record mechanical and electrical assets. \n
- Produce detailed condition reports and survey documentation. \n
- Work collaboratively as part of a national surveying team to deliver projects to a high standard. \n
About You
\nThe successful candidate will ideally be operating at Intermediate or Senior level with a solid background in Building Services Engineering or Facilities Management.
\nYou will have:
\n- \n
- A recognised qualification within Building Services Engineering or a related discipline. \n
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services. \n
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. \n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. \n
Desirable Experience
\nExperience or knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
\n- \n
- Asset registers. \n
- Contract mobilisations. \n
- CAFM systems. \n
- SFG20 maintenance standards. \n
- Experience carrying out M&E surveys or inspections within commercial or public sector buildings. \n
