Job title: Head of Event Operations – London Catering Company

Salary: Up to £55k + Bonus

Location: London

We are working with a fast-growing London catering company seeking a Head of Event Operations to lead multi-site event delivery and drive operational excellence. This is a senior leadership role overseeing high-volume, complex events across corporate, private, and large-scale productions—combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event operations across multiple venues and sites
\n
• Manage and develop a team of Event Managers and freelance staff
\n
• Oversee scheduling, resource planning, and operational delivery
\n
• Drive consistency in service standards, processes, and guest experience
\n
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and licensing
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers
\n
• Collaborate with sales, kitchen, and logistics teams
\n
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
\n
• Identify efficiencies and drive continuous operational improvement
\n

About You

• Proven experience in a senior event operations role within catering or hospitality
\n
• Strong leadership experience managing large, multi-site teams
\n
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
\n
• Confident client-facing communicator
\n
• Calm, solutions-focused under pressure
\n
• Strong understanding of event logistics, staffing, and compliance
\n
