There are far fewer where you'll work directly alongside the founder, influence major planning applications, meet clients, help shape the direction of the business, and see first-hand how a successful architectural practice is built.

We're working exclusively with a young, design-led London practice founded by an architect with over fifteen years' experience delivering complex residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, including some of London's most significant regeneration projects. Having progressed from architectural assistant through to associate at a leading London studio before establishing his own practice, he's now looking to build a team that shares the same passion for thoughtful design, commercial understanding and genuine ownership.

Despite being a growing studio, the projects are anything but small.

\n

\n

The practice's portfolio already includes significant residential-led regeneration, mixed-use developments, hotels, co-living and commercial projects, with schemes ranging from early feasibility through to planning submission, plus two cultural projects on site.

\n

\n

You'll work directly alongside the practice founder on a broad range of live projects, becoming involved in everything from feasibility studies and planning strategy through to client meetings, design development and planning submissions.

\n

\n

Unlike many larger practices, where responsibilities naturally become more specialised as teams grow, this role offers the opportunity to gain exposure across the wider business.

\n

\n

You'll see how projects are won.

\n

\n

How clients are managed.

\n

\n

How planning strategies evolve.

\n

\n

How commercial decisions influence design.

\n

\n

And, perhaps most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to those conversations rather than simply observe them.

Who We're Looking For

\n

We're deliberately keeping an open mind on level.

\n

\n

You could be an exceptional Part II Architectural Assistant ready for the next step.

\n

\n

You could be a newly qualified Architect looking for greater responsibility.

\n

\n

Or you could already have several years' post-Part III experience.

\n

\n

What's more important is the way you think.

\n

\n

Ideally You'll Bring:

\n

\n
• Strong residential and mixed-use project experience.
\n
• Exposure to feasibility studies, planning applications and early design stages.
\n
• Excellent graphic presentation skills and a genuine eye for design quality.
\n
• Confidence working collaboratively within small teams.
\n
• A commercially aware mindset and an interest in understanding the "why" behind design decisions.
\n
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
\n

\n

Experience with MicroStation would be advantageous, although it's by no means essential, as the studio is very open-minded to other platforms.

\n
