An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Restructuring team of a leading international advisory firm.

The team advises corporates, lenders, investors and other stakeholders on complex stressed and distressed situations, delivering high-profile financial restructuring engagements across a broad range of industries both in the UK and internationally.

The Role

\n

As a Senior Associate, you will support the delivery of complex financial restructuring assignments, working closely with senior colleagues and clients to provide commercially focused solutions.

\n


\n

Typical assignments include:

\n
    \n
  • Short-term liquidity and cash flow management.
  • \n
  • Independent Business Reviews (IBRs).
  • \n
  • Business plan analysis and financial modelling.
  • \n
  • Strategic options analysis.
  • \n
  • Stakeholder management and contingency planning.
  • \n
  • Distressed M&A support, including buy-side and sell-side processes.
  • \n
\n

Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Supporting the execution of financial restructuring projects across a range of sectors.
  • \n
  • Undertaking financial analysis, cash flow forecasting and business plan reviews.
  • \n
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations and client deliverables.
  • \n
  • Liaising with management teams, lenders, investors and other key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including pitch documents and marketing materials.
  • \n
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional advisers.
  • \n
  • Ensuring assignments are delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
  • \n

About You

\n

The successful candidate will have:

\n
    \n
  • Around 3-4 years' experience within financial restructuring, restructuring advisory, investment banking, credit analysis, insolvency or a similar advisory environment.
  • \n
  • Experience supporting financial restructuring mandates on either the company or creditor side.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • \n
  • A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent), either qualified or working towards.
  • \n
  • A commercial mindset with an interest in complex restructuring situations.
  • \n
