\nI'm currently working with a well-established insurance organisation based in Leeds that is looking to hire a BI Analyst to join its growing data and analytics team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful reporting and business intelligence solutions that help drive strategic decision-making across the organisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders from across the business to understand reporting requirements, develop insightful dashboards and ensure key decision-makers have access to accurate and actionable data.

\nKey Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the organisation. \n
- Analyse business performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. \n
- Gather reporting requirements from business users and translate them into effective BI solutions. \n
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyse data. \n
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and quality of reporting across multiple data sources. \n
- Work closely with Data Engineers and wider technology teams to improve reporting capabilities. \n
- Produce regular management information and KPI reporting for senior leadership. \n
- Support ad-hoc analysis to answer key business questions. \n
- Document reporting processes and maintain reporting standards. \n
- Promote best practices around reporting, data quality and business intelligence. \n
Essential Skills and Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role. \n
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying relational databases. \n
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI. \n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. \n
- Experience gathering business requirements and working with stakeholders. \n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. \n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. \n
Desirable Skills
\n- \n
- Previous experience within the insurance, financial services or other regulated industries. \n
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling. \n
- Exposure to Python or R for data analysis. \n
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. \n
- Experience working within Agile environments. \n
