\nThe Role
\nYou'll be responsible for assembling, repairing and modifying precision-engineered products while ensuring every build meets strict engineering and quality standards. Working with specialist equipment and technical documentation, you'll contribute to the manufacture of complex products within a controlled production environment.
\nYou'll also play an important role in maintaining product quality, supporting audits and sharing best practice with colleagues.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Assemble, repair and modify mechanical and electromechanical products to engineering specifications
\n• Carry out manufacturing activities using specialist tools, equipment and measuring instruments
\n• Complete build documentation and production records accurately
\n• Ensure all products meet quality and certification requirements before release
\n• Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the manufacturing process
\n• Support inspection activities and product audits where required
\n• Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards and safe working practices
\n• Contribute to continuous improvement and share technical knowledge within the team
\nSkills & Experience
\n• Completed a Level 3 Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering apprenticeship
\n• Hold relevant Level 3 engineering qualifications such as NVQ, Diploma or ONC
\n• Experience working within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment
\n• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
\n• Experience using precision hand tools and measuring equipment
\n• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
\n• Good organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
\n• Flexible approach and willingness to support a variety of manufacturing activities
\nWhat's on Offer
\n• Salary of £41,500 to £43,000 depending on experience
\n• Onsite working in Henlow
