Human Resources Advisor
Job Description
HR Advisor - Food Manufacturing – Hull - £35,000
\nNot every HR role gives you the chance to help shape a team.
\nSome are about keeping the wheels turning.
\nThis one is about helping build something better.
\nYou’ll be joining a newly formed HR team with a clear goal: raise the profile of HR across the business and become genuine partners to managers, not just the people they call when something’s gone wrong.
\nThe role
\nYou'll be providing hands-on, generalist HR support across a busy manufacturing site, working closely with managers to solve problems, develop people, and improve the employee experience.
\nNo two days will look the same.
\nYou could be coaching a manager through a difficult conversation in the morning, supporting recruitment after lunch, and wrapping up an employee relations case before you head home.
\n- \n
- Advising managers on all aspects of HR and employment law \n
- Managing investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases \n
- Coaching managers to build confidence in people management \n
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity \n
- Reviewing and updating HR policies \n
- Assisting with payroll and HR administration \n
- Supporting HR audits and compliance \n
- Helping drive a positive, people-first culture across the site \n
What they're looking for
\n- \n
- Previous HR Advisor or HR generalist experience \n
- Confident managing employee relations cases \n
- Good knowledge of UK employment law \n
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it) \n
- Manufacturing experience would be a real advantage \n
- Someone who can build relationships, influence managers and isn't afraid to have honest conversations \n
If you're looking for a role where HR is seen as more than just policies and paperwork, this is well worth a conversation.
