Location: Surrey
\nSalary: £25,000 – £28,000 + Benefits
\nSet-up: On-site (Monday – Friday)
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised, market-leading business operating within the speciality ingredients and distribution sector.
\nThis company partners with some of the world’s most well-known brands and manufacturers, supplying innovative products and solutions across multiple industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a driven and customer-focused individual to join their commercial operations team.
\nThe Role
\nYou will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a seamless service from order placement through to delivery. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Responsible for placing supplier purchase order on ERP systems \n
- Placing purchase orders based on customer/supplier requirements, stock holding and product stock levels \n
- Dealing with queries relating to these orders such as price queries and delivery delays \n
- Maintaining stock levels in accordance with with stock policies \n
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and colleagues \n
- Developing good communication skills via email and phone with internal and external suppliers/colleagues \n
- Working with third-party warehouses and hauliers to resolve any purchase order queries such as damages and delays. \n
- Resolving any purchase related complaints and recording these so that we can look for areas of improvement. \n

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal \n
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail \n
- Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, and product quantities \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word \n
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment \n
- Previous experience within customer service, administration, sales support, or order processing would be advantageous \n
