\nJob Description
\nJoin William College as a Business Lecturer and be at the forefront of higher education innovation. The person appointed will join a progressive team at William College and be involved in the delivery of a range of full-time programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses in partnership with Birkbeck, University of London.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting, particularly Foundation year in Business and Human Resource Management. \n
- Offer appropriate support to students to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations. \n
- Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students. \n
- Plan and deliver subject-specific sessions in line with the learning outcomes and syllabuses of modules. \n
- Deploy assessments appropriately as set out by the module specification from our partner institution. \n
- Ensure the learning needs of students on their modules are met. \n
- Support students with timely formative and summative feedback on their assessments. \n
- Ensure that all expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught are met. \n
- Produce appropriate module evaluation reports. \n
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students from diverse backgrounds. \n
Competencies and Expertise

- The successful applicant must demonstrate competence and experience in the area of business, leadership or human resource management. \n
- Able to work on site at our Leeds campus. \n
Essential Requirements
\n- \n
- Master's degree in Business or a PhD in the relevant area. \n
- Teaching qualification: PGCHE, Masters in Education/Teaching & Learning, or FHEA, or equivalent. \n
- Previous teaching experience on similar courses at HE level. \n
- Confidence in working with online systems such as Moodle, Teams etc. \n
