\nWe're looking for a Document Control Specialist to join our Transport Control Tower team at Shotton Mill, supporting one of the UK's largest and most dynamic logistics operations.
\nThis is a key role responsible for ensuring transport, compliance, customs, and operational documentation is accurately managed, controlled, and accessible across a network handling 400 HGV movements every day and a transport budget exceeding £40 million annually.

\nWhat You'll Be Doing
\n'05; Managing, controlling and archiving transport and logistics documentation
\n'05; Maintaining accurate records for delivery notes, invoices, PODs, manifests and bills of lading
\n'05; Ensuring document control processes comply with company, ISO and regulatory standards
\n'05; Supporting transport operations by ensuring documentation is available throughout planning, execution and delivery activities
\n'05; Acting as the central point of contact for carriers, warehouses and internal stakeholders on document-related matters
\n'05; Supporting audits and compliance activities with accurate and timely document retrieval
\n'05; Monitoring document retention and GDPR compliance requirements
\n'05; Coordinating carrier onboarding documentation and approvals
\n'05; Working closely with transport planners, hauliers, customs brokers and customer service teams to resolve documentation issues
\n'05; Supporting transport tenders and wider logistics projects through effective document management
\n'05; Monitoring document accuracy, service levels and carrier compliance performance
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nEssential
\n'14; Minimum 3 years' experience in a transport documentation, logistics administration or document control role
\n'14; Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
\n'14; Experience managing large volumes of operational documentation
\n'14; Excellent organisational and administrative skills
\n'14; Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards
\n'14; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
\n'14; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
\n'14; Full UK Driving Licence
\nDesirable
\n'14; Experience working within transport, logistics, supply chain or distribution environments
\n'14; Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
\n'14; Experience with systems such as SAP TMS, Transporeon, Paragon, Aptean or similar platforms
\n'14; CIPS, APICS or equivalent supply chain qualifications
\n'14; Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies
\n'14; Turkish language skills
