Associate Director, Strategic Intelligence Consulting Europe
Job Description
Alchemy is working with a leader in strategic intelligence and investigations, who advise and provide strategic information to top-tier commercial and financial advisory firms, including Fortune 50 and FTSE 100 companies. As part of their plans to further expand across Europe, they are looking for a vision-driven Manager or Associate Director to guide and manage their intelligence projects.
\nRole Overview:
\nThis candidate will play a very pivotal role in undertaking comprehensive commercial due diligence and counterparty analysis across the various markets in Europe. This role requires a strategic thinker who is very commercial advice-oriented and understands cultural and commercial differences across different geographical areas.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Define and direct lines of inquiry and focus areas based on potential operational and commercial risks in diverse sectors and geographies. \n
- Devising interviews strategy, human source engagement and public record research. Triaging investigative materials and streams of research, while evaluating both the credibility and relevance of sources of intelligence. \n
- Producing high quality reports. \n
- To be able to develop and present clear, commercially-focused briefings and reports for all levels of stakeholders, including deal teams and the C-suite ensuring communication of key findings and insight. \n
- Leadership, manage, develop and grow your team-including identifying and hiring new talent to meet increasing demand. \n
Candidate Profile:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial advisory positions; preference to experience with consultancy, legal, investment advisory, compliance or related profiles \n
- Excellent skill in verbal/written English; proficiency in an additional European language will be an advantage \n
- Strong track record of team along with large project management with a strategic orientation \n
- Strong commercial/cultural acumen with sharp insights relating to the European business and regulatory landscapes. \n
- Strong analytical skills. \n
- High attention to detail. \n
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills. \n
- Ability to work well under pressure, use own initiative, and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no day is the same. \n
- Eligible to work in the UK. \n
