🚨 Payroll Manager | Hayes | £55,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Benefits 🚨

Are you an experienced Payroll Manager who owns the payroll process from start to finish using a payroll system?

I'm recruiting for a global organisation looking for a hands-on payroll professional to take responsibility for payroll across two UK entities. This isn't a payroll administration role - we're looking for someone who has processed payroll themselves using a dedicated payroll system, understands UK legislation inside out, and enjoys driving accuracy and continuous improvement.

The Role

'14; Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for two UK companies

'14; Process payroll using a payroll system, ensuring accuracy and compliance

'14; Administer pensions, benefits, P45s, P60s and P11Ds

'14; Act as the payroll expert for employees, HR and Finance

'14; Manage HMRC submissions, audits and statutory reporting

'14; Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls

What we're looking for

'05; At least 3 years' experience managing end-to-end UK payroll

'05; Recent, hands-on experience using a payroll system (such as Workday or similar) to process payroll

'05; Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax, pensions and statutory payments

'05; Comfortable managing payroll independently and meeting strict deadlines

'05; Strong Excel skills for reporting and reconciliations

Please note: This role is best suited to candidates who have been responsible for processing payroll within a payroll system. Unfortunately, experience limited to preparing spreadsheets or payroll input for an external provider won't be sufficient.
