Head of Conference Production
\nRemote UK or US Based
\nSalary £65000-80,000 (DOE) + Profit Share
\nThe Role…the client requires an intelligent, experienced, ambitious and pro-active Head of Conference Production, someone with strong scaling experience, validation & would like to take full ownership of the portfolios whilst managing 7 Conference Producers based in the UK & US. Would also suit someone interested in launching into new areas
\nOverview of the Role
\n- \n
- Topic generation and verification of topics for new produce \n
- Research and verify each topic \n
- Keep in touch with your industry and proactively network into specific industry areas \n
- Ability to have the team producing traditional events in 2027 mainly to Europe & the US \n
- Lead from the front, hands-on production skills required ideally from a traditional conference production background \n
Management Expertise
\n- \n
- Looking after a team of UK & international producers \n
- Train and develop production teams \n
- Lead cross functional event teams including sales, marketing and operations \n
- Successful hiring, training, coaching and mentoring new producers \n
- Drive the production process for each event \n
- Co-ordinate the marketing, sales and sponsorship strategies for each event \n
- Closely monitor the performance of members of the team \n
- Develop and challenge high performers \n
- Conduct timely performance appraisals and manage the career path of each team member \n
- Maintain morale and motivation within the team \n
Product Experience

- Launch new events into existing and new sectors \n
- Strong relationship builder and networker \n
- Entrepreneurial flare for new commercial opportunities \n
- P&L, budget and revenue responsibility (advantageous) \n
- A deep knowledge of production processes \n
- A strong knowledge on how to create a compelling, market driven event value proposition \n
- A proven track record in launching successful conferences \n
- An ability to grow established events through a specific and targeted business plan \n
