As a Senior Optical Assistant, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment customers enter the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service
\n
• Carrying out pre-screening and eye health checks
\n
• Ensuring a smooth and professional handover to the Optometrist
\n
• Dispensing spectacles and advising on lens options
\n
• Helping patients choose frames that suit their lifestyle and style preferences
\n
• Managing collections, adjustments, repairs, and aftercare appointments
\n
• Fitting and adjusting spectacles to ensure comfort and accuracy
\n
• Supporting contact lens teaches and ongoing care
\n
• Completing administrative duties accurately and efficiently
\n
• Maintaining the high standards expected within a respected independent practice
\n
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice and assisting junior team members where required
\n

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working in an optical practice
\n
• Experience in dispensing and pre-screening
\n

\n
