Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £50,000 - £55,000 | Warrington

An opportunity to join a large, international business with an excellent reputation locally. This role will work closely the Financial Controller and an ideal move for a Qualified Management Accountant looking to gain exposure to a more complex and fast paced environment.

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and deliver reporting within agreed deadlines
\n
• Produce financial reports and insights for both local leadership and the wider group
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
\n
• Monitor operating costs, providing analysis and commentary on key variances
\n
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, ensuring issues are investigated and resolved
\n
• Produce cash flow, profit and loss, working capital and other key financial reporting
\n
• Maintain strong financial governance and ensure effective internal controls are in place
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and reporting efficiency
\n
• Partner with stakeholders across the business, providing financial support and commercial insight
\n
• Provide technical guidance to the wider finance team and contribute to wider finance projects
\n

Candidate profile;

\n
• CIMA/ACCA Qualified
\n
• Prior experience of producing management account packs
\n
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
\n
• Large complex company background
\n
