Warehouse Operations Assistant

Boldon Colliery Temporary Assignment (4-6 Weeks Initially, Potential Extension) Full Time | Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Assistant to join a busy warehouse team based in Boldon Colliery. This is a full-time temporary opportunity for an initial 4-6 week period, with the possibility of being extended.

Working as part of a supportive warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of specialist medical products. Accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential due to the nature of the products being handled.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Picking and packing specialist medical products
\n
• Processing goods in and goods out
\n
• Completing warehouse administration and associated paperwork
\n
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse
\n
• Maintaining accurate records and stock movements
\n
• Working to high standards of quality and accuracy
\n

About You

Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
\n
• A positive, can-do attitude
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
\n
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
\n
• Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
\n
• A willingness to learn new skills and take initiative
\n

Essential Requirement

• A minimum of one year's continuous full-time employment with the same employer
\n

Working Hours

\n
• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
\n
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
\n
