Vehicle Technician

Job Title: Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Canterbury Job Type: Full time/permanentSalary: £32,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience) OTE £44,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs across a mixed fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and returned on time.Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems
\n
• Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance to manufacturer standards
\n
• Perform vehicle inspections and document work accurately
\n
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow health & safety procedures
\n
• Communicate with workshop colleagues and supervisors to prioritise work and meet deadlines
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards
\n

Essential requirements:

\n
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair
\n
• Strong attention to detail and take pride in completing quality work
\n
• Full UK driving licence
