Social Value Coordinator

\n

Location: Glasgow
Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Office-based

\n

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Social Value Coordinator to support the delivery, management, and reporting of social value initiatives across multiple projects.

\n

This role will focus on coordinating social value commitments, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring accurate measurement and reporting of social impact activities. Experience using Loop and the TOMs methodology would be highly beneficial.

About the Role

\n

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering social value activities across projects, working with communities, education providers, clients, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve agreed targets and commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver social value initiatives in line with company strategy and project requirements.
  • \n
  • Manage social value KPIs and track progress against agreed targets.
  • \n
  • Build relationships with clients, local authorities, suppliers, schools, colleges, and community organisations.
  • \n
  • Support local employment initiatives, apprenticeships, work placements, site visits, and careers engagement activities.
  • \n
  • Record, monitor, and report social value outcomes using systems such as Loop, Social Value Portal, and TOMs methodology.
  • \n
  • Produce accurate reports, case studies, and supporting information for internal teams, clients, and tender submissions.
  • \n
  • Support bids and tenders by providing social value content, stakeholder information, and relevant project examples.
  • \n
  • Promote best practice and support the continued development of social value activity across the business.

About You

\n

The successful candidate will ideally have:

\n
    \n
  • Experience within social value, community engagement, CSR, or a related role.
  • \n
  • Experience working within the construction, infrastructure, or built environment sector (desirable).
  • \n
  • Knowledge of TOMs methodology and Social Value Portal.
  • \n
  • Experience using Loop or similar social value reporting platforms (highly beneficial).
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • \n
  • Strong written and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
  • \n
