This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the estimating process, gain exposure to a variety of project types, and play a key role in securing new business for a reputable and growing specialist contractor.Demolition Estimator - Position RemunerationBase salary: £65,000-£85,000 per year, depending on experienceHours: Full-time, Monday to FridayHolidays: Standard company holiday allowance plus bank holidaysBenefits: Competitive benefits package including pension scheme and other standard employee perksAll employees are directly employed and supported with a personal development programme and in-house training to further grow skills, experience, and capability within the tradeDemolition Estimator - Position OverviewPrepare accurate costings, budgets, and tender submissions for residential, commercial, and industrial demolition projectsAnalyse project drawings, specifications, and site surveys to calculate materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor requirementsWork closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to gather technical and commercial informationReview and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive and realistic pricingAssist in the preparation of bid documents, schedules, and reports for clients and internal stakeholdersMaintain and update estimating records, cost databases, and project documentationDemolition Estimator - Position RequirementsProven experience in estimating or quantity surveying within demolition, construction, or civil engineering projectsGood understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specificationsStrong numerical, analytical, and commercial awarenessExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsEffective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with project teams, clients, and suppliersProficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience of estimating software or CAD packages desirableSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
