The bonus will be paid in two instalments: £500 upon joining Places for People and a further £500 upon successful completion of your probation period, subject to the terms of the scheme.What you'll be doingCarrying out 2nd fix plumbing work across domestic properties both internally and externallyCompleting general plumbing repairs while maintaining high quality standardsWorking to specifications and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirementsCollaborating with supervisors, schedulers, and wider teams to meet deadlinesRecording work activity and completing required documentationSupporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIsWhat your day looks likeA structured schedule covering repairs and maintenance workTravelling between jobs in your company vanWorking independently or with a team of other tradespeopleEngaging directly with Customers in their homesCompleting work efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance standardsWhere you'll workYou will be working across:Occupied homesEmpty (void) propertiesA range of domestic properties within your local areaEnvironments involving vulnerable CustomersEssential Criteria (you need to meet all of these to be shortlisted)NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds in PlumbingExperience working as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic propertiesFull UK driving licenceDue to the area this patch covers, you will need to be based within the WF postcodeNice to have (not essential)Experience working across multiple trades, so you can finish a job end to end i.e. boxing in, painting, patch plastering.Our hiring processWe're moving quickly and aim to interview as soon as possible for suitable candidates.
