You'll use data, customer insight and actuarial expertise to uncover opportunities, develop compelling products and benefits, and improve how members engage with their health and wellbeing. Working with product, digital and marketing teams, you'll contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation and business case development through to launch and performance evaluation.Key Actions Analyse member behaviour, engagement and programme performance to identify opportunities for new products, benefits and member experiencesExtract and analyse data from multiple sources using SQLSupport the design, pricing, evaluation and enhancement of Vitality products and benefitsApply actuarial techniques to assess impacts on mortality, morbidity and persistencyTranslate analysis and customer insights into innovative product concepts and propositionsProduce and present compelling recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholdersBuild business cases, product specifications and success measures for new product initiativesConduct research into wellness trends, consumer behaviour, emerging technologies and competitorsCollaborate cross-functionally with product, digital, marketing, data science and clinical teams to develop and launch new propositionsContribute across the full product lifecycle from opportunity identification and concept development through to implementation and performance monitoringSupport the development of innovative propositions aligned to member needs, business strategy and market opportunitiesWhat do you need to thrive? Part-qualified actuary with strong progress through professional examsProven experience using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse complex datasetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExperience supporting pricing, product evaluation or actuarial analysisUnderstanding of key actuarial concepts including mortality, morbidity and persistencyAbility to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally with product, digital or marketing teamsCuriosity, initiative and a drive to see analysis translated into real product outcomesExperience with Python or R for data analysisSo, whats in it for you?
