Warehouse Operative Tyseley, Birmingham £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm 30-minute unpaid lunch break Description Novara People are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution business based in Tyseley, Birmingham. Our client specialises in handling and distributing parcels for businesses across the UK. With peak season fast approaching, they're looking to expand their warehouse team with hardworking and reliable individuals. Although this role may initially be on an ad-hoc basis, there are plenty of shifts becoming available as workloads continue to increase. Duties Sorting parcels into the correct locations Loading and unloading vehicles Scanning parcels using handheld scanners Preparing orders for dispatch Moving parcels safely around the warehouse Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe Working towards daily productivity targets Following all health and safety procedures Skills: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential Reliable with a good work ethic Physically fit and happy with manual handling Able to work well as part of a team Good attention to detail Punctual and flexible to support additional shifts during busy periods
