London | Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 from home)

Up to £38,000 DOE

Blush & Bloom are exclusively partnered with an established beauty brand who, due to recent growth, are looking for a Regulatory & Compliance Officer to join their growing team.

\n


\n

This is a great opportunity for someone with around 2+ years' experience in cosmetic regulatory and compliance who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle. You'll play a key role in ensuring products meet regulatory requirements from concept through to launch, while working closely with internal teams, customers and global suppliers.

Key Requirements:

  • Managing product compliance throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet UK, EU, customer and private label requirements.
  • \n
  • Reviewing ingredient listings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer specifications.
  • \n
  • Coordinating product testing, arranging additional testing where required and tracking progress through to completion.
  • \n
  • Preparing and maintaining technical and compliance documentation, including supporting user trials and customer requests.
  • \n
  • Collecting, analysing and maintaining compliance data for reporting, audits and internal records.
  • \n
  • Liaising with internal departments, customers and international suppliers to obtain technical information and resolve compliance queries.
  • \n
  • Maintaining compliance databases and systems, with the opportunity to work with platforms such as Aptean.
  • \n
  • Supporting ethical and certification programmes, including Leaping Bunny (CFI) requirements.
  • \n
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Key Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Around 2+ years' experience within cosmetic regulatory affairs or product compliance.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of UK and EU cosmetics legislation.
  • \n
  • Experience reviewing ingredient lists and technical documentation.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Experience using compliance systems or databases (Aptean experience would be advantageous but isn't essential).
