Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead key initiatives within a large transformation programme. The role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed in a safety-critical industry environment.

Contract – 3 to 6 months

Location – Waterside(UB7 0GB)

\n

Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite

\n

Pay – attractive daily rate (Inside IR35)

Project Leadership & Delivery

\n
    \n
  • Lead projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
  • \n
  • Coordinate resources, suppliers and delivery teams.
  • \n
  • Drive delivery against agreed timelines and objectives.
  • \n

Planning & Controls

\n
    \n
  • Manage project RAID and change control.
  • \n
  • Monitor dependencies and critical path activities.
  • \n
  • Work with PMO to align reporting and governance.
  • \n
\n


\n

Commercial Management

\n
    \n
  • Support supplier and commercial management.
  • \n
\n


\n

Governance & Assurance

\n
    \n
  • Prepare status reports and governance packs.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Support delivery reviews and assurance activities.
  • \n
\n


\n

Stakeholder Management

\n
    \n
  • Build relationships across business, operational and technical teams.
  • \n
  • Facilitate workshops and governance meetings.
  • \n
  • Manage communications and stakeholder expectations.
  • \n
\n


\n

Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience delivering projects as part of large transformation initiatives.
  • \n
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or APM desirable.
  • \n
  • Experience of enterprise system delivery / transformation initiatives desirable.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments preferred.
  • \n
