Ever wondered what happens before a complex engineering programme gets the green light?
\nWe're supporting a highly innovative engineering organisation operating at the forefront of advanced propulsion technology, and they're looking for a Technical Proposal Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering, project planning and commercial strategy. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who enjoys the bigger picture.
\nYou'll work with multidisciplinary teams to shape and cost new product development programmes, analyse customer requirements, contribute to technical proposals, and help define how future engineering projects are delivered.
\nThe role combines technical understanding, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and business.
\nWhat we're looking for: Technical Proposal Engineer
\n'14; Experience within product development, NPI, systems, projects or engineering programmes
\n'14; Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into structured plans
\n'14; Strong communication and presentation skills
\n'14; Commercial awareness and an interest in how engineering programmes are won and delivered
\nExperience creating bids or proposals would be beneficial, but it's not essential. Full training will be provided for the right individual.
\nThis could suit engineers from aerospace, defence, automotive, advanced manufacturing, chemicals, energy or other complex engineering environments who are looking to broaden their career beyond purely technical delivery.
\nIn return, you'll gain exposure to customer engagement, programme strategy, bid development and cutting-edge engineering projects that have real-world impact.
