We're working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Associate to join its growing Contentious Trusts & Probate team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside recognised experts on a broad range of high-quality, complex disputes while benefiting from exceptional training, genuine career progression and a supportive, collaborative culture.

The Role

You'll advise a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, executors, trustees, beneficiaries and charities, on a wide range of contentious private client matters, including:

• Inheritance Act claims
\n
• Will validity disputes
\n
• Probate and estate administration disputes
\n
• Trust disputes and breach of trust claims
\n
• Court of Protection-related matters
\n
• Proprietary estoppel claims
\n
• Executor and trustee disputes
\n
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
\n
• High Court litigation where required
\n

From day one, you'll have meaningful client contact and responsibility, while working closely with experienced lawyers on complex, high-value matters.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is Newly Qualified or has gained post-qualification experience in Contentious Trusts & Probate.
\n
• Has excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
\n
• Enjoys building lasting client relationships.
\n
• Is commercially aware and keen to contribute to business development.
\n
• Thrives in a collaborative team environment with a desire to develop long-term.
\n
