Reserving Lead

We are pleased to be partnering with an international specialty insurance company who are seeking an experienced actuary to take the lead on reserving.

This is a hands-on role that will manage the reserving process to ensure an accurate set of reserving results are presented for their (re)insurance portfolio.

You will develop and manage a small reserving team in a growing insurance company, which writes specialty lines in both established and emerging markets. There will be a need to continuously develop reserving processes and work closely with pricing, claims, finance and underwriting teams to have a joined up approach.

There is excellent exposure on offer in this position where you will be regularly interacting with executive leadership, with a real opportunity shape this function as the business grows further. There is also the possibility to travel to offices in the US, Bermuda and Europe to meet with colleagues.

We are seeking a qualified actuary with reserving experience who has operated at senior actuary level or ready to step up to leading a team. Ideally you will have London market experience, but any classes of business will be considered.
