Logistics Coordinator

We're excited to share that we're once again working with a global client, 30+ year-old company that services several key industries, with an important facility in Wales. Looking for people who carry key freight & logistics experience. As they're urgently looking for a coordinator and a specialist for their European team.

We're looking for someone to help supervise and support an experienced team. Bringing knowledge and a strong understanding of international trading and transportation legislation & regulations. Along with strong IT proficiency and shipping management.

Responsibilities

• Effectively coordinate and oversee shipping.
\n
• Select and manage transportation and shipment types. Including packaging.
\n
• Assist with warehouse & inventory management.
\n
• Coordinate and stay informed of country-specific requirements in the EU.
\n
• Successfully cater to clients' needs with the appropriate storage & shipment types.
\n
• Identify and manage logistics costs.
\n
• Handle relevant documentation
\n
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers.
\n
• Supervise operations team.
\n

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work to strict deadlines to EU & UK standards.

• Proficient with IT systems in freight & logistics.
