Job Title: Consumer & Market Insights Executive/ Assistant Manager (Retail)
\nThe Role
\nA client in the global retail and fashion industry is seeking a Consumer Market Insights Executive / Research Analyst to join the team for 12 months. You will support global and regional insight programmes, contribute to brand tracking, trend monitoring and cross-category research, and help turn data into clear, actionable insights. You will work closely with the Global CMI team to strengthen consumer understanding and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
\nResponsibilities

- Support day-to-day management of the global brand health tracker across multiple markets \n
- Act as a key point of contact for external research agencies \n
- Assist in producing quarterly brand health summaries and reports \n
- Coordinate campaign and competitor activity within the tracker \n
- Respond to regional teams’ ad hoc data and insight requests \n
- Identify relevant consumer and cultural trends for weekly tracking \n
- Use tools such as Kantar Monitor to explore macro consumer shifts \n
- Synthesise insights from desk research, social listening and multiple data sources \n
- Support delivery of cross-category research projects from set-up to reporting \n
- Assist with questionnaire design, sampling and project coordination \n
- Conduct quality checks at all stages of the research process \n
- Analyse quantitative data and interpret data tables \n
- Translate data into clear insights and support the development of presentations \n
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners \n
- Support project set-up, vendor onboarding and purchase order processes \n
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate project documentation \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- One to two years of experience in market research, insights or analytical roles \n
- Degree at 2:1 or above in a relevant discipline \n
- Experience working with quantitative research and large datasets \n
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights \n
- High attention to detail when handling and analysing data \n
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills \n
- Curiosity about consumer behaviour and brand relationships \n
- Proactive, self-motivated and collaborative working style \n
- Desirable experience with brand tracking or continuous quantitative programmes \n
- Exposure to client-facing research environments \n
- Understanding of statistics and quantitative methodologies \n
- Industry qualifications such as MRS certification are beneficial \n
