We're looking for a Commercial Performance Analyst Apprentice to join our team at Birmingham HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated & inquisitive individual who enjoys turning working with data, challenging the status quo, and influencing decision-making that drives sustainable business growth. You'll work closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance and senior stakeholders to protect profitability, improve commercial outcomes and support a culture of disciplined, data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

\n

\n

As part of our Commercial Performance team, you'll be responsible for protecting and enhancing profitability across the business. Your role will include:

\n

\n

\n
• Analysing profitability, margin performance and P&L results across customers, departments and the wider business.
\n
• Monitoring actual versus expected profitability, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Providing commercial insight and recommendations to support pricing decisions, forecasting and strategic planning.
\n
• Challenging loss-making activity, margin erosion and low-quality revenue streams while supporting corrective action.
\n
• Acting as a trusted business partner to Commercial, Operations and senior leadership teams.
\n
• Supporting improvements to pricing governance, reporting frameworks and profitability controls.
\n
• Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
\n
• Driving continuous improvement through scalable processes, robust analysis and commercial discipline.

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who's interested in working with Data & Finance. You'll need:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
\n
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• A proactive, resilient and commercially focused mindset

• Strong Excel skills

• Keen to explore an Apprenticeship route & continue learning

• Recent school or college leaver
