Our client, a leading independent medical communications agency, they partner with leading healthcare organisations to develop compelling scientific and promotional communications across a range of therapy areas.
\nThey're now looking for an experienced Scientific Director to join their growing team.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a strategic scientific leader who thrives on translating complex science into meaningful stories, building trusted client partnerships, and shaping high-quality communications that make a real difference.
\n🔬 What you'll be doing:
\n• Acting as the scientific lead across key client accounts and therapy areas
\n• Providing authoritative scientific expertise and strategic guidance
\n• Owning and overseeing scientific content to ensure excellence, accuracy, and consistency
\n• Leading complex scientific discussions, client meetings, and workshops
\n• Collaborating closely with Client Services, Creative, Editorial, and Strategy teams
\n• Supporting business growth through pitches, proposals, and new client opportunities
\n• Mentoring and guiding writers while maintaining hands-on involvement in content development
\n'05; We're looking for someone with:
\n• A degree in a relevant life science discipline (postgraduate qualification or PhD advantageous)
\n• Significant experience within a healthcare communications agency environment across promotional/commercial and/or medical affairs deliverables
\n• A strong background in medical writing and scientific content development
\n• Strategic thinking and a consultative approach to client relationships
\n• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
\n• A genuine passion for science and healthcare communications
