Role: Pensions Regulatory Change Lead
\nType: Contract (Inside IR35, initial 9 months
\nLocation: Wolverhampton, hybrid 2 days per week in the office
\nIGA are currently recruiting for an experienced Regulatory Change Lead to join a major public sector pension organisation supporting one of the UK's largest Local Government Pension Schemes.
\nResponsibilities:

- Act as Subject Matter Expert for regulatory change across the Fund, ensuring compliance, technical accuracy and best practice in outputs, decisions and advice. \n
- Lead the review of regulatory processes, controls and the control environment, ensuring the team remains aligned with changing legislation, guidance and regulations. \n
- Act as the primary escalation point for internal and external technical queries, providing authoritative guidance across administration, finance, payroll, data, customer and employer teams. \n
- Take day-to-day leadership of the Regulatory Change service, organising work to deliver high-quality service outcomes and supporting line management of Regulatory Analysts and the Pensions Apprentice. \n
- Coach, train and develop the Regulatory Change team and wider service area, promoting knowledge sharing, capability building and a problem-solving culture. \n
- Lead regulatory and technical input into pension administration system development, workflows, letters, calculations and data, working with operations, systems, project teams, suppliers and stakeholders. \n
Key requirements:
\n- \n
- Experience within LGPS pension administration, or significant pensions administration experience \n
- Expert knowledge of UK pensions legislation and LGPS regulations \n
- Experience leading regulatory change and compliance initiatives \n
- Knowledge of pension administration systems such as Altair, UPM or Compendia Touch \n
- Ability to provide technical leadership and support business-critical projects \n
