Quantity Surveyor | Freelance Contract | Major Infrastructure Project

I'm currently supporting a leading infrastructure contractor with an exciting opportunity for 2 x Quantity Surveyors to join a major infrastructure project in Hertfordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS looking to further develop their commercial career while working alongside experienced Commercial Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors on a large-scale project.

The Role:

• Support the commercial management of a major infrastructure project.
\n
• Assist with subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
\n
• Support the administration of NEC contracts and compensation events.
\n
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial documentation.
\n
• Help identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
\n
• Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
\n

We're looking for:

'14; Previous Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.

'14; Good understanding of NEC contracts.

'14; Experience with subcontractor management and cost reporting.

'14; Strong communication and organisational skills.

'14; Eagerness to develop within a busy commercial team.

Location: Hertfordshire

Hybrid: 3 days per week on site is essential.
