Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst (Operational Technology)
\nLocation: (Oxfordshire) (2 days/week on-site), UK
\nDuration: 6 months+
\nIR35: Inside IR35
\nOverview
\nThe Cyber Security Analyst will implement, operate, and continuously improve Operational Technology security controls across the Client’s environments. This includes hands-on security engineering, policy and standards development, risk assessments, SOC/SIEM integration, and collaboration with engineering teams and MSPs to ensure OT systems are protected in line with industry frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, CAF, ISO 27001).
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Deploy and maintain OT security controls (network segmentation, secure remote access, monitoring tools) \n
- Integrate OT systems into SOC/SIEM, develop detection rules, and triage alerts \n
- Support OT asset discovery, security assessments, and vulnerability remediation \n
- Assist with OT incident response (log collection, triage, SOC coordination) \n
- Collaborate with engineering teams for secure system changes \n
- Report on OT security maturity, control coverage, and detection capabilities \n
- Mentor junior team members on OT security practices \n
Essential Requirements:
\n- \n
- Experience in OT security within critical infrastructure (oil, gas, rail, chemical process industries) \n
- SIEM/SOC integration for OT \n
- Implementing OT security strategies, policies, and standards \n
- Knowledge of OT networks, industrial protocols, and segmentation \n
- Conducting OT risk assessments, gap analysis, and remediation \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- OT asset discovery and monitoring experience \n
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (e.g., NIS Directive, UK CAF) \n
- Familiarity with project/service delivery and ITSM controls \n
