SSAS Pension Manager

About the Role

Signature Recruitment is partnering with a well-established pensions operator seeking an experienced SSAS Manager for an interim contract opportunity. We are recruiting for a senior professional to support a specialist SSAS function during an important transitional period. This SSAS Manager role offers the opportunity to oversee complex pension administration activities while supporting a highly experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manage all aspects of SSAS administration including new business, transfers, retirements, deaths, loans and investments
\n
• Submit HMRC annual scheme returns, event reports and tax claims
\n
• Support and guide the SSAS Administration Team
\n
• •Manage communications with clients, solicitors, accountants and intermediaries
\n
• Oversee scheme payments and compliance requirements
\n
• Monitor workloads, identify process improvements and support operational efficiency
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of SSAS schemes from onboarding through transfer out
\n
• Strong leadership and technical pensions administration capability
\n
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and communication skills
\n

Location & Working Hours

Based in Central Bristol. Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working available with up to 2 days from home following the training period.
