We're recruiting for an Export Coordinator to join a well-established international logistics business in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers around the world.

Working as part of a supportive operations team, you'll play a key role in coordinating export shipments from initial enquiry through to final delivery, ensuring cargo moves efficiently, compliantly, and on time.

The Role

As Export Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing multiple shipments and customer requirements while building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and overseas partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating air, sea, and road export shipmentsPreparing and processing export documentation and customs declarationsLiaising with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal departmentsProviding accurate and competitive freight quotationsMonitoring shipments and resolving operational issues proactivelyEnsuring all exports comply with customs regulations and international trade requirementsSupporting customer onboarding and maintaining strong client relationshipsWorking towards team service and performance targetsWhat We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

Previous experience within freight forwarding, exports, shipping, or logisticsStrong knowledge of export procedures and customs requirementsExperience handling dangerous goods (preferred)Excellent organisational and multitasking skillsStrong communication and relationship-building abilitiesA proactive and customer-focused approachGood Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelThe ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamWhat's on Offer?
