Human Factors Specialist BAE Systems, ChristchurchDuration: 12 monthsHourly Rate: £57 PAYE or £76.98 UmbrellaWorking Arrangements: Hybrid Working: Minimum 3 days per week on-sitePlease note that due to the security requirements of this role, you have to be a sole UK National.Key Responsibilities

- Support the lead Human Factors specialist in integrating Human Factors across the TRINITY design programme \n
- Facilitate workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities with end users and key stakeholders \n
- Assess Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment against system requirements and user needs \n
- Evaluate prototypes and mock-ups of hardware and software solutions \n
- Conduct Human Factors analyses including: \n
- \n
- Task Analysis \n
- Human Error Analysis \n
- Usability Assessments \n
- Workload Assessments \n
\n - Perform anthropometric assessments and support workspace/workstation design activities \n
- Support integration testing and verification activities \n
- Produce technical reports and contribute to customer deliverables \n
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering environment to support system development and integration \n
- \n
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, Engineering or a related discipline \n
- Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors (CIEHF), or eligibility to achieve Chartered status \n
- A minimum of 5 years' experience applying Human Factors methodologies within Defence or another safety-critical industry \n
- Strong working knowledge of Def Stan 00-251 \n
- Experience working on complex system integration and development programmes \n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills \n
